About the Organization: Student Technology Services (STS) was founded in the spring of 2001 through a “matching funds” grant awarded by S.O.S. (Students For Other Students), a non-profit organization promoting peer mentoring. The STS students perform many technology-related services for the school-community including technology mentoring to students, staff, and community members, hardware and software support, drive imaging, web design, AV support, and technology integration. The STS students complete coursework in Technology Applications I-IV. One component of each course is to perform 10 hours of service learning per semester. Additionally, some STS students are employed by the school as technology assistants and Technology BOOT Camp facilitators. As recipients of a Learn & Serve America grant the STS students will be involved in various curriculum-related service learning projects within the school community. Staff Members: Cathy Barnett (District Technology Coordinator), Susan Jewell (Technology Teacher) Student Members: Seniors: Chris Henry, Quinn Tempel
